I’m petrified of the doctors😭

I have struggled with pain during sex and urinating for over 2 years, I always have pain or discomfort. I went to the doctors about 2 years ago thinking it was a UTI and was given antibiotics which didn’t really work and I didn’t go back. I also have a rash all over my breasts which goes onto my back and shoulders. I have been a couple of years ago regarding it and was given antibiotics which cleared it up it was a horrible experience having to show my breasts to the doctor. She was relatively nice it’s just my anxiety. Now it’s back, worse.

My partner decided enough was enough because he is worried about me plus it is affecting our sex life and in return our relationship. He called and made me an appointment and he has taken the day off to take me there (we live 10 minute walk away but just as support)

I have an appointment for 9.50am tomorrow morning where I will most likely be given a pelvic exam due to my symptoms and I can’t think of anything worse. Not only that she will have to look at my breasts again that is nerve wracking enough but a pelvic exam is a million times worse in my head.

I have been dreading it for over a week. I’m so self conscious of my body. My labia is rather on the large side and it took me ages to become confident around my partner.

Can you girls give me your experiences with pelvic exams?

(Also I’m 22 next month if that helps don’t know why it would tho 😂)
