Landlord refusing to give lease

My mother in law and he husband are fucking evil! Our lease expired april 2015. Since then they increase the rent every year and do not provide a new lease with the new amount. I have to enroll my daughter for kindergarten and they said my lease is expired and because of this they can not enroll her untill i get a updated lease. I asked mil for a new one and said no that the only change is price. But its fucking expired!!! I cant enroll my daughter, he can apply for a homeloan to move and the list goes on!!! I want to cuss her out but all that will do is get us kicked out. Our rent is 1450 a month and can not go to court because of how expensive the rent is along with everything else. What can we do!?!?! I so badly want to move but our credit sucks and we have been slowly getting it up.
