TTC without being married?

Not at all trying to sound judgmental but why do couple TTC without being married? I’m not talking about the accidental pregnancy or been together for ever or we just don’t believe in marriage. I mean the “I’ve been with my boyfriend for 6 months and we would be happy to be pregnant and he has other baby mamas and we can’t afford our own place.” I totally agree marriage should not be the holy grail goal for us and marriage doesn’t always mean forever. But I just feel like if you are trying to get pregnant on purpose wouldn’t you want the most stable environment for a child? I was a product of an unstable home and my mom continued having kids. I’m open to all options please bash me if I deserve it :)

I agree that you should aim for a stable family unit. However you do not need to be married to have that stability. 
My sister's both had children with their then boyfriends before marriage. My oldest sister was with her partner for 15 years and two kids before they got married.
It's much more important to talk about where you want to be with family, work, your goals and the future and make sure you are on the same page. Or at least in the same chapter.
Being married doesn't guarantee any of that. You might talk about things before or white preparing, but it's not a given at all.
If you are not doing the ground work, having a piece of paper and a ceremony won't make you any more or less stable as couple.

My bf and I have been trying for about 6 months. For us....marriage is the goal, but timing is not in our favor. I'm about to be 34 and he just turned 37, so we didn't dare wait until after a "wedding" to START trying. We just figured we would shoot for a wedding date and adjust if necessary as there is a lot of moving parts....such as we live in different countries. Ideal....no. but possibly our only shot at getting a baby.

Change your title for why ttc if you are not in a long term comitted relationship 😝 as that’s what you mean.
For me marriage was a must have before ttc, I wanted the same last name as my husband and kids.

Some are married and cheating on each other and some are in relationships and worship each other and make each other feel whole.

Nothing wrong with TTC if there’s stability and they are clearly ready for it. There are plenty of people who get married and are not ready for a child. But I can’t stand reading that a couple is living with their parents and not working (for no other reason but laziness) and TTC.

I’m not married, I wasn’t even engaged when we started trying. But I’ve known him since I was 8 years old, we dated for about a two years on and off in middle school, and we started dating again year and a half ago. He has been my best friend since 7th grade. I have always know he was my person and although we’re engaged now and still trying I don’t think it makes dumb for trying before we were engaged. We are in love and want to have a baby with each other.

My (now) husband and I weren’t married when we started ttc :) it’s because we knew we wanted to be together forever but we didn’t feel the need. We lived together, had money, insurance, stability. Marriage didn’t magically change any of that. We got married 2 weeks after I had my baby ❤️
