Am I in the wrong?

This guy I’ve been talking to this guy named, his name is Chris. Chris and I made plans to finally meet up tonight. I’m usually busy as I work a lot and he’s still in school so he’s busy too. The last few times we’ve had to cancel on each other because of being busy. (We also live an hour from each other)

So tonight was the night. I work 12 hour shifts and have been up since 6, so I told him he could come but I’d be tired and couldn’t stay up too late. He said okay. After work I told him I was going to get some food and he said he was too, at the restaurant 45 minutes away from him. So of course I assumed he was going right then.

A couple of hours later, he sent me a snap of him and several other people in the car and I asked what they were doing and he said he’s going to the restaurant. I asked if he’d be over here by 9 or so because I don’t want to stay up after 10. He said “uh yea I won’t be done by 10”.

I told him it was shitty he made other plans when we had previously made plans, and he doesn’t seem to understand and doesn’t think it’s a big deal. The very least he could’ve done is tell me he was going and not wait until the last minute, or ask me if I would mind if we rescheduled. I’m starting to think I’m crazy, am I in the wrong?
