Given ultimatum

So, I’ve been hanging out with my friend who is a guy, like once every two or three weeks. So that’s what I did this past Sunday. My boyfriend was at work. He’s been sick with type A flu, and is in college and been very busy. I also haven’t talked to him in a while. So I went to go get my birthday present from my guy friend and have coffee. I also want to say that my sister and my boyfriends mother work together. So my sister told my boyfriends mother that I was on a date with my friend when it was just a get together to catch up. And with some other conversation with my boyfriend, he has given me an ultimatum. I have to choose between my best friend since 7th grade or my boyfriend..
