Metformin

My doctor recently prescribed me to Metformin for PCOS to help with conceiving. I'm only on two pills a day right now (I'm supposed to work up to 4) and it has my stomach so messed up! Has anyone else had any experiences on this medication? Anything I can do to help with the sour stomach side effects?
