How many outfits does baby need at hospital?

Do you just bring a going home outfit or do you bring a few different outfits for them to stay in while they are there?

I brought one outfit in newborn size and one in 0-3 month size. The hospital has onesies to dress baby in until you go home and it's honestly so much easier to use their stuff. I'd say to pack your hospital bag and then take out about half of it and you'll be all set. You really don't need much.

I brought 3 sleep suits, 3 vests, 3 sets of mitts, 3 hats, and their going home outfit with cardigan. I stayed 2 nights and used almost all of it.
