It’s all so worth it ☺️

I’ll admit - it’s not all plain sailing...

Not having much time for yourself anymore...

the o so smelly diapers...

waking up at 02:00, 03:00 and 04:00 every morning...

channeling substantial portions of the budget to baby things...

conversation being rarely about anything other than baby things...

washing bottle after bottle after bottle...

wiping down the walls after feeding some purée fruit and veg... etc... etc... etc...

It’s all worth it.

Seeing the little tyke fast asleep and without a care in the world...

the way his face lights up when he sees you...

the absolute excitement when he reaches his favourite toy...

hearing him laugh from his belly for nothing in particular...

feeling him fall asleep next to you when he is dead tired...

If that was the first 6 months... bring on the next 6 months...
