Weening Type Question
Before I ask...I have never produced enough milk for my son. He is 1/2 breastmilk 1/2 organic formula (it makes me feel better 🤷🏼♀️). I pump 3xs a day at work and used to bring home 8-9oz. The past 3 weeks I’ve dropped to 4 oz a day. He is 10 months and I don’t plan to stop nursing him until he is ready. He eats solids but never enough to fill him up...unless it’s yogurt.
So my question is...if breastfeeding is recommended until 2ish, why are bottles/formula generally stopped at 1? If I stop them he literally will not eat enough 🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
So what should I do?
