Boyfriend didn’t ask me to prom

Is it wrong that I’m upset that my boyfriend didn’t ask me to prom? We are still going together and I’m a sophomore and he’s a senior. We’ve been together for almost a year and a half and I really wanted him to ask me in someway. Literally what happened was I said “are we even going to prom” and he said “yea”. Prom is Thursday so if he would have even wanted to ask he would have done so by now. I just want to know if I’m being extra or not.
