Prom 2019

Hey guys! So I am currently really excited to share with you! I am going to prom with the help of a fundraiser that I took part in! This fundraiser gave me two free tickets for prom. This is my problem, originally, before he passed away, my best friend told me that we should go together, I was dating someone else at the time so I didn’t think anything much of it, until I realized a couple weeks later that I wanted to go with him. (Things were toast in with the ex at this time) I wanted to ask my best friend to prom with me then, but later that week he passed away. I have been devastated to go since then, I have tried to “drop hints” to my mother that maybe I should go alone. She is okay with it, however she still thinks I should try to find someone to go with. I don’t wanna’ go with anyone else because of 1 I feel that it would be so wrong to go with someone else after my best friend’s passing and the fact that I wanted to go with him, but also 2 the fact that I truly want to go alone. What do I do? Also, I’m currently talking to two guys at the moment so I do have options.
