Vaccination Motivation

Update: Just got home from our new Pediatrician. They were wonderful. Boys got 4 vaccines, so 2 pokes each. They cried a bit but then forgot it happened. I was anxious all last night and this morning. It went well though. We will go back every 4 weeks to get them caught up. Thank you again ladies for all your advice and positive words!

First let me start by saying, I hope I get the positive motivation I'm looking for and not hate.

I have 2 boys ages 2 1/2 and 1 1/2. When they born my husband and I decided against vaccines and found a Pediatrician that supported both sides of vaccinations. Well, fast forward to a few months ago my husband and I both felt our choice to not vaccinate was wrong. We did tons of research and decided we wanted to start vaccinating the boys and keep them safe. We live in Orlando and get lots of tourists from all over the world. We never knew who we would come in contact with and if they would have something our boys could get. Well, we bring this to our Pediatrician and she says, No. She says the boy's don't need them and totally shot us down. Honestly this was the last straw with them because we were tired of there new employees and nurses and lack of patient care. So, tomorrow is the big day where we have our 1st appointment at our new Pediatrician. I've heard wonderful things about them and that they are flexible with their vaccination schedule and will help us understand every vaccine they administer. So, this is where I need help parents. I'm so nervous and anxious about tomorrow's visit. The boys have never had a shot before and I know they will get at least 1 to start. Any tips? Advice? What should I expect? I would greatly appreciate it! Once again, I'm not looking for hate of our previous choice not to vaccinate. I need positive advice now that we've chosen to get them up to date. 💚
