Am I a bad person?

This is going to be a long story sorry

This girl and I were really really close she was there through a lot of bad things that happened to me since freshman year. I even considered her my best friend. I've been nursing a lot lately that she's very manipulative I guess is the word. she will only call me if she needed something she would only give me the time of day if she had nobody else and I noticed. She recently was talking to this guy and he is a senior we are juniors and he goes to the rival School. I started talking to him as friends after what she did to him. Even longer story short she became friends with her ex again and her except her and this guy up then she dropped this guy to go back to her ex and told me in the car with my mother that she thought this guy and I would work together well. I personally felt used and kind of gross for her thinking that way and I think the only reason she suggested that I get with him is because she felt bad for what she did. I have been pretty much texting this guy for a month now Non-Stop and I really like him but it's not because of her. He text me good morning every morning he called me before bed every night he constantly tells me I'm pretty and he is treating me like an actual human. He is really good with kids which I need cuz I have a big family LOL. I'm falling for this guy and he's my ex-best friend's ex thing. I feel dirty and wrong but it's gotten to a point where I really don't care anymore what people say he makes me happy and I'm scared to be happy.
