When should we try for another baby?

Hi all! I currently have a 5 month old little girl, and I wanted everyone’s opinion on when we should try for number two! We are thinking we wanna try when she’s around 8 months old, is that too soon?! Are we crazy if we try that soon??

Try when it feels right for your family. That answer is different for everyone. In between my first 2 & second 2 we tried at 1.5 years old. Now we’ve been trying for our fourth and last baby since my daughter was 3 months old.

Everyone’s situation is different...I personally wouldn’t try that soon lol but you should do whatever you and your partner decide is right for your family. Don’t let anyone else’s opinions change your mind

My boys are 22 months apart and I love it. Especially now, where they truly are friends, 10 and 12. Whatever feels right is what you should do. I’m ttc #5 my girls will be 20 this year, I have have a gap and close, it’s not as crazy as you think when you have two little ones!

I would wait until at least a year so your body has time to heal. It’s a personal decision and really comes down to what works well for your family. Two under two can be tough but a lot of people love having kids closer together. I would love to have them as close together as possible but it’s recommended to wait 18 months after having a baby to conceive again for health reasons for the Mom and baby if you are under 35. I’m planning on waiting at least a year for that reason but likely closer to 16 months postpartum. It’s up to you though and what works best for you.

My son was six months old when I got pregnant with our second. I’ll be honest: it was hard at first with a mama’s boy and a newborn. BUT, we got everything situated and I wouldn’t change it. They’re fourteen months apart and I love watching them grow together. ☺️
