Shrunk everything?

Question

I started washing all the clothes I have received. I’m washing them with free & clear detergent on the delicates cycle (cold water, low spin) and tumble drying them on low. But everything is coming out looking so small. Like I feel like I shrunk everything. Even my husband made comments about how everything looks so small. 
Is this normal? I’m using the most delicate settings possible on my washer! Or are 3 month clothes really just this small?!

They’re really pretty small! But make sure you’re just washing in cold water and not using warm or hot because that’ll make things shrink!

Careful of extra bright colors as well.  I used cold water and still had a bright red sweatshirt turn half my sons onesies pink 😬. 
I was so mad at myself for ruining his gifts but now I’m kind of over it.  We were gifted another legit 100 NB and 3m handmedowns this weekend.  He literally won’t have time to wear all this stuff before outgrowing.  I just wish I’d received the handmedowns first, I wouldn’t have clipped the tags on some of the new clothes 🤷🏻‍♀️
Anyway, I rewashed just the bright reds in hot water just to bleed out as much dye as possible to avoid any issues next time, or in the dryer.
