Membrane Stripping successful?

So I am supposed to be getting my membranes stripped Thursday. I’m trying for a vbac, and have a very small pelvis so Dr doesn’t really want me going past my due date. I’ll be 38 +1. 
Anyone had success with this?

I did last year at 37&1 with my daughter , went into labour overnight and had her the next day . Getting them stripped again this Thursday at 37&4 .

I never had it done but I wish you successful vbac. I’m attempting vbac as well. I didn’t progress last pregnancy and they rushed me to C-section. I pray I have vbac this time around .

Wishing you the best! I never dilated before my induction with my first so I couldn’t have them stripped. Might try it if I make it to 40 weeks this time 🤷🏻‍♀️

I had one with my daughter and delivered the same day. 
Had it twice with my son and it never worked. ?

I had one at 39 weeks with my first child. Nothing happened. Ended up being induced.

I had it done 3 times and nothing ever happened. I was so bummed and still ended up being induced.

I had it done twice with my last pregnancy. One at 39 and one a little over 40. The second one sent me into labor about 12 hours later.
