Ovulation pain/ pain in ovaries

Lindsay
I had an ultrasound today to see if my body is producing eggs and if I ovulated. I took five ovulation tests In a row with no positives and am on cycle day 17.
I have three follicles on my left ovary that are larger than The ideal. They said they want follicles between 20 and 25 mm and mine are between 29-35mm. This was my first cycle on Clomid. They said I'm not ovulating and next cycle will give me the trigger shot. They did state there is a chance I could ovulate on my own  today or in the next few days.
Tonight I have been having bad pains in my left ovary. I looked on here and it seems like that can be normal during ovulation or it can possibly be a cyst. I'm guessing it's not a cyst because the ultrasound this morning would have picked the cyst up. The pain is pretty bad and hurt worse during sex.
I guess I'm wondering if this could be because my follicles are so large, or could this be a sign I might be ovulating? Do you think it's worth it to take an ovulation test tomorrow morning? Someone please tell me this is normal!!
