Six month old

My son is 6 months old and he loves to eat haha but I'm just having trouble.. I'm a ftm. And he eats about 7to8 oz of formula every 3 r 4 hours. I've tried to feed him baby food like the little jars, but he doesnt seem to want to do it. Idk I'm new at this. I've tried it many times. I think he doesnt like the spoon. But i mean it's a kid spoon so I don't know. Im also scared of him choking.. I really hate it when he chokes

. It scares me and I have anxiety really bad so I mean I freak out but idk please give me some advice because I know the formula isnt enough anymore
