Have nexaplon then switch to iud?

Question

Hey ladies, I was on the nexaplon for about a year but got it removed becasue i had terrible symptoms like never ending bleeding, and t effected my mood making me depressed. I went on the pill but every month I worry that I will miss one and end up pregnant. Have any of you had bad symptoms on the implant and then got an iud and liked it? I’ve been thinking about it for a while but am worried the iud will cause the same symptoms. Thanks!

i had the iud then switched to the impant. on the iud i bled for 4 months and was depressed after maybe 6/7 months bleeding went away along with the depression. i didn’t like the idea of something being in me and it made me nervous when i couldn’t find the strings. but let me tell you it worked well :) got it taken out after a year and a half and i have loved the impant so far not bleeding. i think my body was used to the hormones
