Set back to square one..

G

So I was finally sort of moving on from my miscarriage (I was just over 3 months along). This was at the end of December.

It seemed the less I have the opportunity to think about it, the easier is. I just kept myself ridiculously busy.

But I recently caught the flu. My doctor made a comment about how I shouldn’t go around the elderly, younger children or pregnant women because it is very contagious. Which is fair enough of course.

I tried to make a joke with my mother when I got home saying those are the exact people I work around (I work in baby clothing store). All my mum said was, ‘isn’t it lucky you’re not still pregnant then.’

Like Jesus Christ. I’d rather be pregnant with the flu than not pregnant at all. Just feel shitty now.
