What birth method you recommend

Hello ladies ,,
I’m so scared to decided what birth method should I go through. I was totally wanna go with the C-section but my doctor wants me to think again ..
So I’m here to hear you experiences and to listen to what your recommendations🌹

Unless you have a medical reason you need it, I do not recommend a c-section. There’s nothing easier about undergoing major abdominal surgery to have your baby and then recovering from that surgery while taking care of a newborn.

I say, go with the flow. Let your body go with what it needs to do. And how baby handles it. 
I never had a birth plan. My ‘plan’ was go in to have a baby and leave with him. That’s what happened lol. I had to have a c section though because he could not handle the contractions. His heart rate dropped 3 times. So we decided to get him out asap.

You do not have to decide about the epidural right now. I would say to try for vaginal, though...simply because your body is made to birth that way...there is nothing wrong with c-section if it is necessary,  but your body will typically recover more quickly from vaginal birth.

I’ve never had one but I’ve heard C-sections are very hard to recover from. I would suggest trying for a vaginal birth. The best way is to honestly just go with the flow, don’t get hung up on a birth plan or things going exactly your way. Go into it with an open mind will make thing more enjoyable.

Whatever gets my child out safe and healthy. I personally go with the flow... listen to your body and go in with an open mind. They say have a birth plan but be prepared for that to change, you don’t know how you or baby will do during labor, how you will take labor pain wise, or if any complications come up. I would say go in with the mind set of vaginally, if you want pain meds that’s fine there is nothing wrong with that, and if you need a c-section there is nothing wrong with that either. The most important thing is for you and baby to come out of labor healthy

I personally aimed for natural and ended up with epidural. That thing was magic for me. I was induced early and they decided to use pitocin. I was only 3 cm and My contractions by that point were already just a few minutes apart and I couldn’t walk or talk during them (they are pretty darn hardcore!) and I know pitocin would make things even faster and harder so I faced my biggest fear and got the epidural. It ended all pain. I could still feel my body and when it was push time, I could feel minor cramping and pressure but again, barely any pain. Didn’t even feel my stitches being done after.

Keep an open mind. I went in to be induced. Thinking oh I’m gonna have a vaginal birth. Totally wrong. Doctors started to induce at 11pm at 9:30am I was still at 1cm. 6:30pm rolls around still at 1cm. They did cervidil and pitocin all night and half the day. I got an epidural and within 30 - 45 minutes I was being prepped for a C Section. Come to find out my daughter had the cord wrapped around her neck twice and she wouldn’t move down and I wouldn’t dilate. She then had to be put on oxygen. 
I feel a lot of women have a birth plan but it never works out unless it’s going to be a C section.

If you dont need a c section for medical reasons, dont have one. The recovery is a lot longer and harder than a vaginal birth. You don't have to make a decision about pain meds for a vaginal birth until you're in labor. If you want an epidural you can get one, if you feel up to natural you can do that too.
