False positive?

My period is 4 days late so I just took a pregnancy test. It came back positive. I don't believe it. Why don't I believe it? 
I plan on taking another one in a few days.

False positives can happen but not very often. When I got my positive I thought it was false too but then I did a little research on false positives and realized that I was actually pregnant.

It's probably just shock and denial, as I don't know if you're TTC or not, I can't say congratulations.

But I can say that this turns out how you want it to. And if not, there's always options, like trying again if you're TTC, or a myriad of options if you're not ready for a baby.
