USPShold?

I just ordered a clothing item and expensive camera part for my photography business.

I rarely order things online and definitely not from amazon. My old address from 3 years ago was on there and while I thought I changed it, I apparently just added my new address without making it primary, so it sent to my old address. I do not know who lives there, and it’s a REALLY bad neighborhood. As in I could be in danger if I even tried to ask to wait for it or something. I don’t even step foot there anymore.

I have already contacted amazon who won’t do anything. Since my order is “closed” (it still shows open but w/e) they won’t change the billing or shipping address and won’t just cancel it either. So yeah, fuck them.

They’re shipping the items through USPS. I know FedEx does, but does USPS have a way I can call and have an item held at an office?? Will they do that in cases like this? The person from amazon I talked to was useless!
