Deliver earlier with second pregnancy

How many people delivered early with their second pregnancy then they did with their first ? And by how long was it early? A week? A day? With my first pregnancy I was 2cm dilated and about 75 effaced at 34 weeks pregnant. But I also didn’t go into labor until I was 39 weeks . But I heard with your second pregnancy you go into labor earlier so I’m wondering if I should get checked for dilation earlier.
