I don’t plan to. I think it’s wrong to curse in front of your kids and then turn around and say “don’t repeat me”
I also think it’s wrong for kids to curse like their parents. So my husband and I plan to just not curse in my household.

voted yes bc my mother did- she had no problem saying fuck in front of me for honestly as far back as i can remember 😂 i didn’t start cussing till i was around 12 and i was the last of my friends to start cussing. and i cuss around my mom/family all the time 🤷🏻‍♀️ not in a disrespectful way, it was just normal in my household. now at 19 when my friends still don’t cuss around their parents i find that so odd! just shows that the norm is different in each family

I don’t have kids but I probably will cuss in front of my kids because I’m not going to put on a fake persona around my kids because that’s what my mom did for a long time and it confused me a lot how she was almost 2 different people. Also I don’t know if I could stop myself every time even if I wanted to. I cuss in front of my siblings (I have my 5 year old brother every day from 7am-6pm) and they don’t repeat me other than the 2 middle schoolers but that’s expected lol.

I have a terrible potty mouth. I have an 18 month old and his speech is blowing up, so I’m trying to be better. I’m not going to act like it’s the end of the world if my teenagers curse in front of me, but they’ll learn there’s a time and a place for it.
