Is it ok to sleep on your stomach in your first trimester?

This is my second and I'm just as paranoid! Can't remember if it's ok to sleep on your stomach this early in the pregnancy. I'm 5w 4days. I know sleeping on your left side is reccomended for oxygen sake when the baby is bigger?!

I was told you can lay on your belly until it's uncomfortable. That you will reach a point where you physically can't lay on your belly before it's dangerous

You don't need to stay off your tummy until later in the second trimester. But usually your baby belly will prevent you from being able to long before there is a health risk lol. Congrats!

I sleep on mine as long as possible and then a pillow becomes my best friend.

Perfectly fine, I'm trying to enjoy sleeping on my tummy as long as possible. Seems that's the only comfortable position for me. 4wks 6days

It won't hurt the baby, it's just bad for your spine. I worked at a chiropractors office as an xray tech and that's one of the things they try to get the patient to change because of the back pain it can cause and the neck pain.

If your tummy makes you look like a stuck turtle while laying on it-don't sleep on it-my doctor. Lol
