When did you learn that your mother had a miscarriage if she had any?

I’m fourteen and my mom just told me she had a miscarriage before my brother and I were born.

I don't think my mom had any, but she did tell me she got an abortion bc she got prego "too soon" after my brother- which is interesting bc if she would've had that baby she probably would have had me! She only wanted 2 kids, got get tubes tied after me.

My mom had 2 miscarriages after she had my second sister. There is a big age gap between them and me. They were born in the late 70s, my mom has the miscarriages in the early 80s and had me in 1994. I didn’t know until I was in late teens when I found out my sister had a miscarriage with her second and third child (which was a boy), she now has 3 girls. Girls seem to be more dominant in my family

I *think* she had a miscarriage, but it was so long ago she mentioned anything. I got the impression it was a miscarriage she had before me but I cant remember the words she said and she hasn't mentioned it since. I think I would have been about 9-12. I know she struggled for years getting pregnant but I'm pretty sure there was one time she thought she was pregnant but after a few months... I dont think she made it clear either and hasn't brought it up since and probably still won't talk about it. A bit like learning about periods when I was 8, I couldn't quite remember what I was told and had a feeling it was bleeding but wasn't sure for how long bleeding lasted (just mum was buying sanitary towels for me cos she thought I'd start early) so I'm glad I got sex ed when I was 11/12. Nowadays of course there's apps like these.

My mom had one when I was 10-ish and it happened after she’d announced the pregnancy to us other kids. I very distinctly remember my dad explaining the miscarriage to us.

I don't have contact with my biological  "mom" (she's a mess and I consider my step mom to be my mom) and don't remember if she had told me of any. I personally have had 5 miscarriages and have never really considered when or how to tell my future kids about them. I know that I would want them to know at some point though
