Would you care?

Would you care if your SO goes through your phone sometimes just out of boredom. For instance he’s bored so he goes through your phone text messages,social media etc. While your doing something you come in the room with him on your phone. Would you care or would you not?

While I don’t have anything to hide, it would be a red flag to me if suddenly my husband just starting looking at all of my text messages out of supposed “boredom”.
If you are bored read a book, play a game, do a chore, take a walk. 
But if someone wants to sit and scroll through all of my texts and social media accounts I’d be put off. It’s super cringey to me.

I would care. If he's bored he can read a book. If he wants to look through my phone he can ask.

I'd be like "uh oh" even if I am not up to anything,  i just know im a weirdo. So i have a picture of a pigeon in a top hat saved.
Also it invades my privacy & my friends privacy. 
Like if he looks at my conversations, my friends even intended the information there to be private!
It's not very cool.

Yes I would care. Snooping through texts and social media because you're "bored" seems like the sort of thing someone who's insecure and untrusting does...
My husband knows my phone's passcode and I know his, but that doesn't mean we feel the need to snoop.

Neither of us have locks on our phones or other devices. If he wanted to look through my phone for any reason I wouldn't mind. He can look through it any time, we keep nothing from each other

It would depend on how/when/why he started doing it. Is it really out of boredom? If he’s genuinely just interested in what my text conversations and my reddit posts, then go ahead! I have nothing to hide. But if I thought that “boredom” was just a cover up for some lack of trust and he wants to snoop, then I would be concerned and want to talk about it. Did he suddenly start doing it after showing signs he doesn’t trust you as much? Has he been doing it for a while? Have you shown him you phone before and been open about it? Is he secretive about his phone or would he let you do the same thing? It’s all situation and depends on the trust within the relationship.

I have nothing to hide, but I value my privacy, so I would be very angry if he was going through my texts and such cause he was “bored”.
