Child Custody

I have a child from my previous marriage. I’m seeing a guy that’s in the military and it has me wondering what to do if we were to take that step as far as a good custody agreement with my child from the previous marriage that would give us both equal time as possible as I’d be in a different state if we were to go that route, or down that path. I’ve not mentioned it to her father yet, as we’re not to that point yet but I’m always looking in the future. Any advice ladies? Have any of you all been in this situation?
