Wedding Band

So this may be the absolute wrong place to ask this but I don’t have anywhere else..

Do women still buy ‘plain’ wedding bands such as this one? My S/O wants us to have matching wedding bands, and I do enjoy the simplicity of this one, however looking online and at friends wedding sets, the all have the thin bands with diamonds, and I can only think of a few 60-70 year old women I work with who have a traditional band.
