Panicking

So my boyfriend is a manager of a shop, that’s part of a big chain.

And today he heard that they will be shutting his shop, and he doesn’t know when- because it will be as and when new tenants can be found.

So it could be a year, or it could be next month.

And now I’m seriously panicking because if he loses his job, without having something in place then we’ll be in serious s**t. I can’t afford the rent and bills on my own.

I think he’s being over confident that he’ll find something, and thinks he’ll walk into a new job.

I don’t know if it works like that in retail normally, but he’s expecting management level position in retail or equivalent level of pay elsewhere.

And i don’t think it’s as simple as that.

And I’m seriously stressing now.
