FTM might not return to work advice!!

Hi all. I am a first time mom my little guy is 9 weeks old. I’ve been on MTL for about 2 months now. My date of return is end of July. I am a recruiter and my job requires me to be in office mostly and meet people constantly. I work in the freelance world so it is very demanding.

My husband and I have discussed me staying home. He works until he financial world and makes very good money. I also make decent money but I just know my heart wants to stay home. My husband also wants me to stay home. Child care we both could afford but I just want to be with my little one and more in the future.

I just want some advice on how you all may have transitioned from bringing in an income to not now. Maybe any advice on how you might have a side job now that doesn’t require so many hours? Also, this might be weird but how does it work with asking your hubby for money for something you may want?!
