Alcoholic

I have twin boys and I’m trying to leave the cheating alcoholic father. Alcoholism is on of his claims with the VA is that enough to prove he is in fact an alcoholic. The police have been called several times and I’m usually pretty hysterical when they arrive. Not on purpose, but I have anxiety. We are living together and I stay in one room and he will not leave the room to avoid confrontation in front of them. He’s very cunning and pulls the veteran card with them and the police end up acting like his buddy. I don’t know what to do
