Asexual later in life?

Question

I literally have had no desire for sex since I got pregnant with my daughter. And she's 8 months now. So it's been like a year and a half and... nothing. Even just thinking of it makes me nauseous. 
I used to be super sexual, I had a stupid amount of sex as a teenager that sounds weird to say but I used to sleep around a lot and stuff and now I'm like HELL TO THE NO. 
Is it possible to become asexual later in life? Or could this be some sort of pregnancy hormone related thing? I know sex drives can change a lot when you are pregnant but its been 8 months since I was lol. 
I'm not really upset by it I'm not in a relationship or anything so it isn't bothering me at all it's just... weird.

You can't become asexual but hormone levels can drop your libido significantly. I never want sex anymore - although I never really wanted it that much before either haha.

Not wanting to have sex is normal after pregnancy. If you are concerned about it you can talk to your doctor. It’s probably due to hormones. A lot of women experience this.

I mean I can't relate to some aspects since I've only had one sex partner and stayed pretty late (27). But my daughter is 9 months old, and had sex three times and I still don't have the urge to have sex. Sometimes I feel bad cos all I want to do is sleeeeep

It’s probably hormonal or something along those lines.. asexual is about your sexual attraction to people, not (just) desire for sex

So sleep deprivation can cause decreased libido, the hormones during breastfeeding can cause decreased libido, if you’re having any issues w/ postpartum depression/anxiety that can mess w/ things, pregnancy can also trigger other health issues which can mess w/ your sex drive especially autoimmune problems, I discovered after talking to my doctor about this very issue, among other things, that I have Graves Disease (an autoimmune disease that affects the thyroid) I was about 8 months postpartum when I found out, we treated the symptoms for that & my postpartum depression symptoms & my libido has slowly come back, my daughter is almost 2.5 years old & hubby & I are intimate once or twice a week usually which less than before my daughter but it feels good & not like a chore anymore so I consider that progress!

Same. I'm nearing 6 months PP. I have NO interest in sex, or anything sexual. I try for my husband, I really do. We had such a great sex life and now it's practically non existent
