Life and happiness reflections.

Hey everyone, so I’ve been through quite a lot of harassment and unkind words from those around me lately. I have lost two friendships I once considered to be close over the last year. I realize one is one sided as she said something to the effect of the catch up being more of an inconvenience. “It would have been better to delay the catch up to when her husband was back and when she had less stress. To me I’d like to be there for a friend and have offered, but to her it’s as though it was either another stress or she knew she couldn’t handle anything more and didn’t want to break the friendship due to her stressed mental state.

It seems people have lost touch with how to treat people. They don’t value those around them, unkind talking behind the back, gossiping etc. I know people can be better than this but it seems people are so weighted down and stressed they are missing nurturing friendships. I’ve certainly got more to give, but unfortunately these people don’t make me want to keep trying with them. Maybe give them time and understanding and perhaps talk to them. They are not all aware or even worth it some of them, unfortunately I’ve lost trust in them
