I lost 16lbs!

While I’m still overweight according to the BMI I am still thrilled by my progress. I started at 175 lbs and now I’m at 158! The same regimen doesn’t work for everyone, so it took me a while to find what worked for me.

I tried exercising for a few weeks and didn’t lose an inch of weight, nothing!

Then I tried keeping track of my steps and just moving around more in general, not much of a change though.

Then I tried the OMAD diet but failed miserably as I hate being hungry all the time, though the diet did work, I just couldn’t stay with it.

.....Then I finally found what worked after some tweaking. I started counting calories cutting out sugar and soda, if I go over a bit in calories its no big deal, I’m not going to sweat it. I also quit exercising and just decided to move around a bit more during the day again, taking a multi vitamin, and drinking a ton of water. And now I’m finally shedding off inches and pounds.

You don’t ALWAYS need some crazy exhausting diet and routine to lose weight. Just start with what you already know and tweak it. Maybe extra protein is what you need? Or 30 minute walks? Light strength training? Or stress relief? More kale? It’s a pain and struggle to find what works, but it will be worth it in the end. If you have health issues that hinder you though, talking with your doctor should be your first step in my opinion. I’m also not telling everyone to lose weight, I’m just saying this for people that are trying to only. If you are content with your weight, more power to you!
