Is the size of my babies head a concern?

Question

I worry my baby might have hydrocephalus as her head seems a bit too big to me, but I don’t know if it’s normal. Her dad has a pretty big forehead so I’m not sure if it’s just genetic or something serious. How do I go about getting an answer? Do I talk her doctor I want to have her do an MRI?

Baby looks perfectly normal! But at your next well child visit have them measure her head which they should do anyways. My girl was 88th percentile for head size- some babies just have big heads!

My daughter is in the 97th percentile for head circumference and her doctor has never been concerned. As long as they’re following their own growth curve, there’s nothing to worry about.
