No period but no baby either

So...im.currently 14 days passed my period and the pregnancy test came back negative...so i ask the doctor whats wrong...he say just wait...maybe too soon..i mostvlijely didn't ovulate when i though and the pregnancy is to early to detect...even in blood...cause they took a blood test and ultrasound so now..im waiting...with ALL the symptoms of a pregnancy but no baby...I would think im crazy if the doctor didn't keep insisting this happens
