More than friends?

I feel like an idiot asking this. Or like I’m in high school lol.. This guy and I have been friends for awhile. He was hit by a mustang while on his motorcycle on the freeway. The driver left him for dead on the side of the road. He broke his pelvis to where he couldn’t walk for two months. I was there almost every day to feed him, make sure he got his meds, etc. Everything seemed casual. Then he started talking to this girl a month later and boom I’m jealous. So great, now I know I caught feelings. I fantasize about him and wish I could make it go away. It’s torture. He’ll say things like me and you are really close. You’re like a sister to me. Blah blah blah. Today he woke up hungover after a long week at work he wanted to have a night out. He asked if I’d bring him food. Of course I’m not gonna say no. He talks in a way he never does with me and then says he’s joking. So wtf.. Is he too chicken to ask or make a move? Or am I reading into this shit? 🤦🏻‍♀️ Screenshots below of the “joke”. 🙄
