Is this separation anxiety or??

My little guy just turned 9 months old & for the last week or so almost anytime I put him down he screams.. not like cries, but screams, pitches a fit. I can even go sit next to him and he’ll still cry until I pick him up. If I leave the room he screams. It doesn’t happen every single time, but almost. Is this a sign of his temperament or ?? :/ I love him & want him to need me, but y’all... I’m feeling completely give out bc of it. I want him to be happy & hope this is just some phase.... I did just start staying home with him full time over the last 6 weeks, I don’t know if that has anything to do with it.. anyone else baby going/gone through this?

It's a phase, (which can be annoying to hear sometimes) but my husband works long hours 6 to 7 days a week. He was recently home for an entire month and our youngest daughter clung to him for most of the month. Towards the end it started to cease. But it does take its toll. I am a SAHM so I think it was a mixture of her age (14 montha) and that she did miss her dad.

It’s separation anxiety. He’s most likely going through a leap or a developmental milestone which is making him feel insecure.
The most important thing to remember is that you are shaping your child on a moment to moment basis and you need to set the tone each time he screams. Don’t pick him up out of bed and start letting him take control of bedtime etc. This will last a couple of days if you do it right and a couple of years if you do it wrong!
