What’s happening?

My LO is 3 months old and today I think I got my period. Just a bit of light bleeding but definitely looks like a period. 
I’m breastfeeding so I’m not sure why this is happening. Could it be because LO is sleeping through the night and feeding in longer intervals? Is this normal? 
I hope this doesn’t affect my milk supply. I’m really worried now

It doesn’t really mean anything. Breastfeeding can delay your period but doesn’t for every woman. When it does return some women notice a slight decrease in their supply but it usually goes back to normal afterwards.

I agree with the other commenter. Breastfeeding doesnt guarantee you wont get a period. My period returned a month after my little one was born and i just kept at the breastfeeding/pumping and i didn not have a problem with my supply.

I exclusively breastfed my daughter and my period came back regular after pp bleeding stopped. Sometimes breastfeeding delays periods and sometimes it don’t- everyone is different :)
