Potty training difficulty - ideas?
My 3 year and 3 month old still doesn't want to consistently use the potty. She's perfectly capable of doing it and can do the whole process on her own if she wants too (pull down pants, wipe, flush, wash and dry hands).
The problem seems to be just motivation. She would just rather still use diapers/pull ups. Yesterday she changed her own pull up and threw the old one in the trash. And she did it again this morning while I was in bed (just pee diapers).
Also, she might not be able to fully tell in advance when she needs to pee. Like she may not realize it until she starts going.
We've tried various things - sticker charts with and without rewards, lots of praise when she goes on the potty, regular underwear or training pants so she can feel wet (usually she doesn't even care if she's wet and will just continue doing whatever).
So, any ideas to get her to Want to use the potty or other tips?
