1 month old still always struggling to poop?

My daughter just turned 1 month old and is still constantly struggling to poop.
I am breastfeeding, she does around 8 poops a day and they seem mostly like liquid so I don't get why she's still struggling so much? Literally always grunting and fussing.
It's been a week now of also constant feeding her, I can't put her down or she cries, sometimes pulls off me and starts screaming, but is fine as soon as she goes back on. I know about cluster feeding and growth spurts but didnt think they would last this long? 
It seems like most of the time when she cries is because shes trying to poop. Any advice on how to help her?

This sounds just like my baby! She gets so tense when she’s eating and also does the fuss/grunt thing all the time. As long as they’re getting poop out regularly there’s nothing you can do. I guess they’re just dramatic poopers.

So they pooping thing is because they don’t know how to push and relax their butt at the same time. It takes a few months to figure it out. With that many poops she’s doing fine. If you’d like your can do bicycle kicks and such with her to help. 
As for cluster feeding, it’s 7-10 days, 2-3 weeks, 4-6 weeks, 3 months, 4 months, 6 months and 9 months (more or less). It’s rough but your little one will level out soon.

My girl was like this too. Face turned red, made grunting sounds and literally looked like she was in pain every time she pooped or tried to. Now she’s 12 weeks old and I can’t even tell if she’s pooped or not, other than by literally sniffing her bum 😜

Newborns are learning how to poop. It’s normal for them to fuss and grunt.

They tense everything when they push to poop - including their rectum so it’s counter productive.
