If you don’t trust your SO,Do you go through his phone?

Can you guys pls list, why or why not. I used to go through my SO’s phone DAILY and for the past month I haven’t. (We are working on trust)
Recently,  I’ve noticed he’s more attached to it, and almost guarding it .. BUT I do not want to began invading his privacy again.  I feel like he is hiding something.. something small but still, I’m curious .. what would you do?

If you don’t trust your SO enough that you are debating going through their phone then you shouldn’t be together. It’s obviously not a healthy relationship right now. You could talk about your feelings of distrust and see if you can work through it but don’t be sneaky.

If I don’t trust my SO, then I end the relationship. There’s no sense in being with someone you don’t trust.

I never have and never will because we built our relationship on trust. Also, I feel like that’s such a personal piece of property, I would never ever cheat but I wouldn’t want him looking through my phone cause sometimes you just have personal stuff or conversations. I feel like it’s childish, if you can’t trust your partner then what are you with them?

I don’t look thru phones regardless. Don’t go looking for what you don’t want to find.

My husband and I go through each other’s phones sometimes out of curiosity because we don’t keep anything from each other lol... like sometimes I’ll ask what he was talking about with his friend earlier and he’s like “just read the conversation” so I will. But certain things like my best friend often confides a lot of personal stuff with me so he would never go through my texts with her without asking since he knows it may violate HER for him to see it...
But yeah, the only time we’ve ever looked at each other’s phones is just genuine curiosity... I wouldn’t date someone I couldn’t trust.

If i didn’t trust my SO, he wouldn’t be my SO. If he went through my phone, it’s over. Not that I have anything to hide, but I value my privacy and if he doesn’t value my privacy as well, I can’t respect him 🤷🏻‍♀️

It’s not that I don’t trust him I use his phone all the time to watch YouTube but sometimes I snoop through his moms texts with him because sometimes he doesn’t tell me the full story of what’s going on 😩 it’s not that he means to hide things it’s just he’s REALLY bad at explaining shit...
