How long to wait & make love?

Hi ladies, I have been speaking with this man for 6 weeks now. He's amazing,  I feel he is different from the guys who usually date me. He's attentive, expresses his feelings, is happy and mature. In the beginning we just talked and been meeting up. The last time we met, it got intense and we stopped before we crossed the sex boundary. He told me he wanted our first time to be special.  
I am just wondering, curious,  how long have you waited to have that first sexual encounter? 
I've had sex before. This guy is very special and I feel it is worth the wait.

I waited all of 48 hours with my husband. We weren't even dating we just decided to have sex but after that night things changed. We had only known each other 48 hours but 4 months later we got married :)! Been married 5 years now!

My husband and I talked for 3 months and had several dates until finally doing it. We have been together now for 5 years. (3 years of marriage and we have 2 beautiful children) I think when the timing is right you will know!

It really depends on so many factors and it’s such a personal decision. What’s right for one couple is probably not for another. My husband and I had sex for the first time 11 days after our first date, which was about 4 days into being officially in an exclusive relationship. He tried to initiate on our first date actually lol. I turned him down and said not unless we’re exclusive! But once we were, we didn’t wait long.

We waited nearly a year. Probably 11 months. I loved that our relationship wasn’t just about sex and that we really got to know each other within that time frame. When you know you’re both ready, I think that’s fine!
