4th and final IUI

We have been on this journey since September 2017–we tried it on our own and ‘naturally’ until December 2018 when we were told we had unexplained infertility.

July is our 6th assisted cycle and 4th IUI (cycle 4-5 were medicated/monitored). This is it for us...before moving onto IVF, and today is the first day of this cycles tww. This journey is so hard—mentally and emotionally and this month is a mix bag of emotions. I have lost hope in IUI working, so I am simply wasting time until our next steps. But I would be lying if I didn’t say there is still that glimpse of positivity that maybe this will be our cycle.

August 14 is our 2nd appointment with our IVF Dr. where she will review our protocol and get us ready to start stims. This date will mark our next moment of hope as we move into our final option to conceive.
