6 week PP (TMI)

Had my 6 week PP checkup yesterday (I’m only 5 weeks PP) I ripped during birth with my son, I don’t know how bad (my doctor didn’t walk me through anything that she was doing) well I got stitches, couple days after delivery it stung really bad to go to the bathroom on the left side of my vagina. My husband and I tried intercourse the other night (5 weeks PP) & it was absolutely unbearable (just through the opening on the left side still) went to my follow up PP appt & she couldn’t find anything wrong. I was on the verge of tears trying to hold back the pain. She didn’t help at all & didn’t even seem concerned. Anyone experience this much pain after a child? This is my first & hopefully not my last
