Low sex drive 🙄

My bf and i have been together for 1 yr and 4 months now. We literally have sex like once a month now (since last September) but it's been hurting me (like a ripping burning sensation, that's been happening for the least 3 months) and i had the same pain when i went in for my first pap smear to see if anything was wrong down there. I know he probably doesn't wanna have sex as often anymore because he works outside almost everyday and never feels good. I need advice on what to do about the pain and how to possibly get our sex life back😥 we're both 22 i feel like this shouldn't be an issue yet😬???
