Is this weird?

Hubby and I are going to his family reunion this weekend. His mom was super kind and got everyone’s rooms as a treat. I just found out today that we’re sharing a room with her. Normally I wouldn’t mind sharing but we’re TTC. He sees nothing wrong with sharing a room for 4 days. I told him if he’s okay with it then he’s okay with no sex all weekend because that’s not happening while sharing. 
Now note I love her and she’s my favorite person but it’s just odd IMO.

It's just 4 days and if she is covering the rooms she may be trying to save a little money. I wouldn't be upset personally.

Unless he explicitly stated it, why would you assume he'd be ok with having sex with his mom in the room? That's kind of a weird thing to assume...if it were me, and I liked her as you seem to, I'd be thrilled and very grateful to have someone pay for my room with the trade off of no sex. If its during ovulation, there's always next month! You also have the option of paying for your own room so you don't have to share.

I personally don’t think this is weird.. I live 8 hours away from my in-laws. When we go to their state to visit we always share a hotel to spend as much time together as possible. No sex for a matter of days isn’t a big deal in my opinion, especially because she’s paying for the room.

Since you're trying to conceive, try to sneak off in the morning or rush for a quickie if she needs to leave the room. Best wishes!
