Is my supply drying up?

So my baby is ten months old now but he recently started nursing like crazy! I thought it was a growth spurt but it’s been going on for three weeks which seems way too long for a growth spurt. I checked for teeth and nothing. My period came back months ago and has never caused a problem like this and I am not pregnant, I tested and since this started my period has come too. So I’m completely out of explanations. He is now nursing more than every hour and sometimes he cries during. He doesn’t settle down enough to nap anymore either and he wakes up for hours at a time at night. I know babies nurse for comfort as well but this seems like way too much and it’s been weeks! It’s only getting worse and I don’t know what to do! Now that he’s ten months old I have no idea how many wet diapers he should have per day but I do know that, unless we give him a bottle of formula, he will go about 4 days between poops. He has an appointment next week but it’s starting to feel like that’s too long to wait. Has anyone ever experienced this?? Is this just a ridiculously long growth spurt? I need help, my back hurts so back from sitting here all day and night 😩
